Una vez llegados a Humahuaca, y habiendo conocido el lugar donde estábamos por comenzar a trabajar en el futuro Bar, decidimos seguir recorriendo algunos lugares con mi Papá, para que conozca, ya que en unos días culminaría su experiencia volviendo a Chacabuco.
Fuimos al Hornocal (Cerro de los 14 colores), a Bolivia para también hacer los tramites de migraciones de Pau, y la quebrada de las señoritas. Este último lugar me encantó al verlo, y tal es el caso que durante unos meses, mientras el bar iba tomando forma, me dediqué a llevar gente hacia el lugar. Fueron trekking muy lindos, con muy buenos grupos de personas, las cuales, muchas de ellas, sigo aún en contacto.
El lugar se encuentra muy cerca del pueblo Uquía, y esta lleno de grietas, cañones, y ruinas arqueológicas confirmadas por nuestro amigo Julián de Almeida. Con el, Vanesa y Pau fuimos a descubrir nuevos rincones de tan lindo lugar y a confirmar si esas piedras que veíamos eran ruinas. Disfrutamos de cuatro meses seguidos en Humahuaca, conociendo mucha gente, trabajando mucho, tanto en el Hostel como en los trekking, y de a poco iba tomando forma el bar, con sus pinturas, murales, y gracias al esfuerzo de mucha gente que pasaba de voluntaria por el hostel y se enganchaba en la idea del proyecto.
Hablando de voluntarios, uno de ellos, Danilo de Brasil, nos cuenta un día que se dedicaba a hacer animaciones. No dudamos la idea de contarle a Danilo de nuestro proyecto "El que busca no encuentra" , el cual, en una parte, tiene animaciones. Pau se puso a dibujar horas y horas y junto a la ayuda de Danilo pudimos dar un nuevo paso en este importante proyecto para nosotros.
En el Bar, Pau se animó a diseñar y pintar por primera vez un mural, y eso la ponía muy feliz, más aún estando al lado de una gran artista plástica como Elsanora, que se vino desde Buenos Aires a sumar al proyecto.
Llegado diciembre y todo planeado, llegó el momento de la inauguración del bar. Decidimos que era ideal inaugurar de una manera que se muestre la integración artística entre la comunidad y el turismo. Así fue que se convocaron varios artistas de la ciudad y la provincia de Jujuy, tanto en música como en danza y pintura, y los mismos ensamblaron en vivo con el dúo tucumano Turucuto.
Fue una buena experiencia para nosotros, el formar parte de un proyecto de creación y desarrollo de un espacio nuevo, conectar con el arte y la comunidad local, y llevarnos buenos recuerdos de todos esos artistas.

La sequía de Humahuaca nos hizo pensar en la posibilidad de seguir viaje hacia el sur, volvernos a conectar con el mar, con la patagonia, y con nuevas aventuras…

Art and mountains - with Chacay in Humahuaca
When we arrived to Humahuaca and got to know the place where we were going to start working for the future bar, we decided to go on getting to know some places with my dad, because some days later he would finish his experience by going back to Chacabuco.
We have been to the Hornocal (mountain of 14 colours), to Bolivia (also to do all the migration stuff of Pau) and to the “quebrada de las señoritas”. I loved this last place, and so I decided to bring people there for the next months, while the bar evolved. We had great treckings, with great groups of people, with most of them I still stay in contact.
The place is very close to the village Uquía, and is full of cracks, cannons, and archaeological ruins confirmed by our friend Julian de Almeida. One afternoon, together with him, Vanessa and Pau, we went to discover new corners of this nice place and to confirm if some stones that we saw there were actually ruins. We enjoyed four months in a row in Humahuaca, knowing a lot of people, working hard, both in the hostel like in the trekking, and step by step, the bar was taking shape, with its paintings, murals, and thanks to the efforts of many people that spent a time volunteering for the hostel and onto the idea of the project.
Talking about volunteers: one of them, Danilo from Brasil, told us one day that he works making animatons. So we told him about our project "Who searches will ot find", which, in prts, has animatons. Pau started to draw hours and hours and with Danilo`s help we could do a big step in this important project.
Back in the bar, Pau designed and painted for the first time a mural, and it made her very happy, even more so being on the side of a great artist like Elsanora, which came from Buenos Aires to add her creativity to the project.
With December all got ready, so it was the time of the opening of the bar. We decided that it would be ideal to open in a way that would show the artistic integration between the local community and tourism. That's the way it was convened several artists from the city and the province of jujuy, in music as in dance and paint, and the same assembled in live with a duo from Tucumán: Turucuto.
It was a good experience for us, beeing part of a project of creation and development of a new space, connecting with the art and the local community, and it brought us good memories of all those artists.

The drought of Humahuaca made us think about the possibility of a further journey to the south, to connect with the sea, with the Patagonia, and with new adventures...
